Some of our ongoing and recent projects
Breaking the 150 Montreal
This is one of Design Shopp’s personal projects: a new docuseries in-the-making, highlighting community heroes, often the ones not seen or heard of, who make a genuine difference in people’s lives. We’re currently working on our pilot episode, recently filmed on the South Side of Chicago.

Cloverdale Multi-Ressources Pierrefonds Roxboro
With the help of some amazing clients and the generous participation of the Alouettes de Montreal, we’ve successfully organized our third annual holiday event with Cloverdale Multi-Ressources in 2022 helping over 150 families! Special thanks to Solpak, Gusti, DNE Resources, Safeblend, Les Amis du Biodôme and many individuals who dedicate their time to this incredible event each year! We’re looking forward to 2023’s growing collaborations!2022 Event Recap
Conferences and speaking opportunities Canada, USA & Europe
to underserved communities
From speaking to young entrepreneurs at “YES Montreal” to visiting teens at detention centers in the United States, Josef, our president, continues to dedicate his time to speaking to different organizations around the world. His goal is simple: inspire others to become mentors for underserved youth.josefazam.com
Student Mentoring and Career WorkshopsJohn Abbott College
Our vice president, Melissa, teaches design seminars and career workshops to future graduates from design, marketing and web programs. These workshops are designed to prepare students for their interviews, the workforce, or starting a new business. Her experience being a young entrepreneur when she co-founded Design Shopp, with no business experience and very little mentoring, has been an important inspiration for these workshops.
