We're seeking a Front-end Web Developer to join our dynamic team. We are located in the middle of the Old Port. We work in an open and collaborative environment, and we make a point to display our company culture very publicly (you can actually read it all on our website). We respect each other and help one another. Who we are is what makes us unique, and this is why we have the opportunity to work on amazing projects with great clients.
Salary: Based on skill and experience
Hours: 9AM - 5PM Monday through Friday
Flex Schedule is also an option (ex: 8AM – 4PM, 8:30AM – 4:30PM, etc.)
Let's get right into the fun stuff, as a Design Shopp team member, you will benefit from group insurance, including health and dental. You will have VIP access to our game room (video games, board games, Netflix, and more) and work in a lively and open work environment. You will always have the support of a young and passionate team and limitless cuddles from Charlie the Dog (aka Vice President of Happiness / aka Sandwich Thief). We have a gym in our building, and we can hook you up with a group discount membership the day you start.
Since this is a job posting, let’s get to it. As a Front-end Web Developer at Design Shopp, you will program HTML templates with clean and concise code based on a mocked-up design while working closely with designers, information architects, and back-end developers. We're looking for a dedicated Front-end Web Developer who stays up to date on the latest web development standards. You will ultimately be helping us create beautiful and engaging web experiences.
Experience using responsive frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation is a must, and experience coding for CMS and shopping carts like Magento or Wordpress is a plus.
That’s it in a nutshell, a pretty big nutshell. We’re looking to hire as quickly as possible so we hope to hear from you soon! Make sure to include a personal note about yourself and sample work so we can see how great you are.
If we select your application, you can expect a first phone interview where we will get to know you a bit better and discuss salary, as we will base it on your experience and skillset.
